Meander through a Japanese themed garden complete with two large koi ponds. A Japanese planting scheme can be seen amongst Japanese themed structures, with benches dotted about for you to sit back and relax in a tranquil atmosphere.
Acers also known as Japanese Maples are planted around the garden, with their architectural foliage highlighted against the Japanese bridge. Acers are deciduous trees that are best seen during April-September before they shed their leaves during autumn.
Two interactive koi talks are held a day, one in the morning and one in the afternoon. Some of our largest koi measure nearly 2.5ft in length and are some of the friendliest fish around! They all have names and are part of the Butterfly World family. They enjoy nothing better than being hand fed or bottle fed by customers. dont forget to check out our talks!
